Rockvolt uses its operational expertise to assist venues and events in their journey to become more sustainable. We focus on improvements that are tangible, and translate ideas and goals into actions that are of benefit to the environment, the client and their visitors.
Review
We undertake audits and gap analysis to ascertain a venue or event’s current practices and impact. Using established frameworks and working with associate organisations, we analyse the emissions impact and develop a programme of improvement.
Strategy
Rockvolt works with the client’s leadership team to develop an ongoing sustainability strategy with effective goals. Key components of such strategies should see improvements to the planet, the local community and the staff team. Sustainability should be developed on a holistic scale with climate change, society and wellbeing being at its core.
Framework
As part of the out working of the strategy, we utilise a framework that can lead to certification. We generate clear targets and actions that are easily measurable. We support the client in their programme of achievement. We celebrate success.
Operations
We work closely with venues to review and update their operations so that sustainable practices become the norm. Staff engagement is vital in this process and we work closely with staff teams to encourage and recognise effective changes and continuing improvement.
